Your stories stay yours.

What we collect

To create your custom song, we need: (1) the story you write about the recipient, (2) your email for delivery and account access, and (3) your Stripe payment information (processed by Stripe, never stored on our servers).

What we share

Your story prompt is sent to our AI partners (Google Gemini for lyrics, KIE/Evolink + Suno for music generation) to produce your song. We don't sell or share your data for advertising. See our partners' policies: Google, KIE, Suno, Stripe.

Gift pages

Each gift page lives at a private URL (/gift/...) with an unguessable ID. The URL is only shared when you explicitly send it. We also add noindex / X-Robots-Tag headers so gift pages don't appear in search results. You can delete a gift page permanently at any time from My Orders, which removes the recording from our storage within 24 hours.

Data retention

Songs you've paid for stay in your account forever unless you delete them. Free preview attempts are automatically deleted after 14 days. If you cancel your account, all your songs and stories are deleted within 30 days (except where we're legally required to keep payment records).

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics (cookie-free, no personal data) to understand which pages work. No Facebook pixel, no Google Analytics tracking for advertising.

Your rights

Email privacy@songforyou.cc to: download your data, delete your account, request a copy of what we have, or report a concern about a gift page.

Children

Song For You is for adults (18+). If you're making a song for a child as a gift, that's fine — just don't write PII beyond their first name and age.
